We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Jyotsana Parajuli (PI) and Dr. Job Chen (CO-I), along with their team, have been awarded the prestigious NIH NIA R15 Research Award for their project titled “Development and Initial Validation of a Palliative Care Readiness Tool for Older Adults with Cancer.”

This three-year study aims to develop a tool designed to increase palliative care usage among older adults with cancer. Palliative care is well-documented for its benefits in improving symptom management and enhancing the quality of life for patients.

Congratulations to the entire team on this significant achievement! We look forward to the positive impact this research will have on the lives of many.
