Celebrating Kathleen Jordan: Our New Faculty Marshal at UNC Charlotte
The School of Nursing would like to announce that Kathleen Jordan, DNP, MS, FNP-BC, ENP-C, SANE-P, FAEN, FAANP was recently appointed as a Faculty Marshal by Jenifer Troyer, Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at UNC Charlotte. This role, which will span the 2024-2028 term, officially begins with the December 2024 Commencement and concludes with the May 2028 Commencement.
As a Faculty Marshal, Dr. Jordan will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our Commencement ceremonies. This position entails not only managing the logistics of the event, but also serving on the Commencement Committee, where she will help shape the overall experience for our graduates and their families.
Dr. Jordan’s responsibilities will include training student marshals—selected based on criteria established by the faculty—and coordinating the seating plans for faculty and students. During the ceremonies, she will oversee the flow of participants, ensuring that everything proceeds seamlessly and that each graduate’s moment at commencement is unforgettable.
