Celebrating National Nurse Practitioner Week 2024 at the UNC Charlotte School of Nursing
National Nurse Practitioner Week
November 10th-16th marks National Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week, a time to recognize the vital role nurse practitioners play in advancing healthcare. Established in 1994 by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), this special week was created to honor the dedication, expertise, and contributions of NPs across the nation. It also aims to raise awareness about the critical role NPs serve in expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
At the UNC Charlotte School of Nursing, we take this opportunity to recognize our nurse practitioner faculty, whose expertise drives forward NP education. We also proudly recognize our alumni NPs, whose work positively impacts lives every day, and our current students in NP programs, who are shaping the future of healthcare.
Thank you Nurse Practitioners!
We thank our NP community for their commitment and impact. Happy National Nurse Practitioner Week! For those interested in joining this impactful field, explore our Nurse Practitioner programs at UNC Charlotte.
