UNC Charlotte’s Graduate Nursing Programs Ranked Among Nation’s Best by U.S. News & World Report

UNC Charlotte’s School of Nursing continues to earn national recognition for excellence—rising more spots than any other program at the university—with its graduate programs ranked among the nation’s best in U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings
The School of Nursing’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is ranked No. 68 in the nation in the “Best Nursing Schools: Master’s” category, rising 41 spots, while the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program earned a No. 85 ranking in the “Best Nursing Schools: Doctor of Nursing Practice” category—its first time being featured. Additionally, the Nurse Anesthesia Across the Lifespan program, offered in partnership with Atrium Health, was ranked No. 33 in the nation—placing it among the top 35 programs in the country.
These rankings reflect the School’s ongoing commitment to preparing graduate-level nursing professionals to meet the complex healthcare needs of the region and beyond.
