Dr. Charlene Whitaker-Brown Selected as TEDxUNCCharlotte Speaker
The UNC Charlotte School of Nursing is proud to announce that Dr. Charlene Whitaker-Brown has been selected as one of the featured speakers for TEDxUNCCharlotte 2026, the University’s licensed TEDx event showcasing thought leaders and changemakers across the Charlotte region.
TEDxUNCCharlotte, now in its seventh year, will take place on Saturday, Feb. 21, and will bring together 15 speakers, including UNC Charlotte faculty, staff, students, community members, and alumni. The event is the largest TEDx gathering in Charlotte, aligning with the global mission of TEDx to share “ideas worth spreading.” This year’s theme, “Reimagining,” invites speakers to challenge assumptions, inspire new thinking, and explore innovative solutions that shape the future.
Tickets will be available starting Monday, Jan. 5, and the event is free and open to the public. here is also a $25 VIP option that includes a name badge and TEDx swag.
