Dr. Jyotsana Parajuli Awarded Prestigious 2026 ASCENT AIR Fellowship

The UNC Charlotte School of Nursing is proud to announce that Dr. Jyotsana Parajuli, PhD, MGS, RN, has been selected as a recipient of the ASCENT Consortium’s inaugural 2026 Investigator in Residence (AIR) Fellowship.

Dr. Parajuli was chosen through a highly competitive, NIH-funded selection process. Over the course of this prestigious one-year career development program, she will engage in targeted experiences focused on advancing research in palliative care. This outstanding achievement recognizes Dr. Parajuli’s promise as an early-stage investigator and provides valuable mentorship, networking opportunities, and collaborative research experiences.
