Are you an LPN or RN student? Interested in extra support and help with academic and career success?
Program Objectives
Stanly Community College and UNC Charlotte School of Nursing are partnering to provide academic support, enrichment, mentoring and career planning assistance to a cohort of LPN and RN students through a year-long funded project.

Program Goals
- Help LPN students successfully complete their program on time and transition to ADN program.
- Help ADN students successfully complete their program on time and transition to BSN program.
- Increase Stanly County nursing workforce.
The EARN program is designed to optimize student success while earning their certificate or degree.
Program Benefits
1. Individualized Tailored Advising
ARN LPN and RN students will have a dedicated advisor throughout their program of study who will regularly check in, track progress, and help with strategies for success.
2. Program- Specific Academic Support
EARN participants will benefit from regularly offered enrichment programs that cover topics such as how to write a scholarly paper and time management skills.
3. Career Planning Support
Receive Help with your resume, interview preparation, and networking skills!

- Develop a statement of purposes (no more than one page) telling why you want to do to EARN
