Protecting Our Campus Community: October Flu Vaccine Clinics at UNC Charlotte
October not only marks the arrival of fall, but also the start of flu season. At the UNC Charlotte School of Nursing, we believe in the power of community health, and this month, our senior nursing students are taking a proactive step to help limit the spread of influenza on campus.
In collaboration with the UNC Charlotte Student Health Center, we are excited to announce a series of flu vaccine clinics open to all students, faculty, and staff. Vaccination is one of the best ways to protect yourself and those around you from the flu, and our nursing students are eager to assist in this important effort.
Flu Vaccine Clinic Schedule
Join us at one of the following clinics, where our dedicated nursing seniors will be administering flu vaccines:

Why Get Vaccinated?
Influenza can be a serious illness, leading to hospitalizations and even death, particularly among vulnerable populations. By getting vaccinated, you are not only protecting yourself but also contributing to the health and safety of our entire campus community. Vaccination helps to reduce the overall prevalence of the virus and is essential for maintaining a healthy environment for learning and working.
What to Expect
When you arrive at a flu vaccine clinic, our nursing students will guide you through the process. Please bring your student ID or university identification, and if you have insurance, it can be helpful to bring your insurance card as well.
