School of Nursing

Sarah Christ, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, began her nursing career in 2016 after earning her BSN from the University of Michigan. She spent most of her bedside nursing career in cardiac and medical–surgical settings before earning her MSN-FNP from Simmons University in 2022 and practicing as an outpatient gastroenterology nurse practitioner.

Before joining UNC Charlotte, Sarah’s teaching experience included pathophysiology, pharmacology, skills labs, and clinical rotations across a variety of settings. Her primary clinical expertise is in adult medical–surgical nursing, with a specialty focus in cardiology. Sarah is passionate about bridging the gap between the classroom and clinical practice. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing the “lightbulb moment” when students connect the dots for the first time.
