Chris Katzberger MSN-Ed., RN

With a diverse background in emergency, progressive care, and maternal-newborn nursing, Chris Katzberger brings extensive clinical experience to my role as a nursing educator. For the past five years, she has served as an Assistant Professor in an Associate Degree Nursing program while also teaching as an adjunct faculty member in an online RN-to-BSN program prior to becoming a lecturer at UNC Charlotte. She is passionate about creating engaging, evidence-based learning experiences that promote clinical judgment, knowledge retention, and student success. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Nursing Instructional Leadership at the University of Alabama. Her teaching and research focus is on innovative, evidence-based instructional strategies, including active learning and game-based review, to enhance student engagement, promote knowledge retention, and prepare future nurses for confident and competent professional practice.
