UNC Charlotte’s Dr. Charlene Whitaker-Brown Honored at Great 100 Nurses Gala

The UNC Charlotte School of Nursing recently celebrated Dr. Charlene Whitaker-Brown, Clinical Professor, at the annual Great 100 Nurses of North Carolina award gala!

The event recognized registered nurses across North Carolina for their exceptional contributions to clinical practice, leadership, education, and community service. Joining Dr. Whitaker-Brown at the celebration were distinguished leaders and alumni, including Great 100 President Dr. Shelia Smallwood, keynote speaker Dr. Gwen Sherwood, board member Dr. Lorraine Wilson, and alumna Dr. Brittany Woods.
