Katryna McCoy, PhD, FNP-C
Dr. McCoy is a cross-disciplinary researcher, an educator and a family nurse practitioner. She has a research platform that is centered around reducing HIV-related health disparities, HIV prevention, treatment adherence and symptom management. Her research activities incorporate mixed methods to reduce the effects of stigmas on the health-seeking of those at risk for HIV. Her research activities have been funded by both extramural and intramural funding, including funding from the National Institutes of Health.
