Food drive Hosted by the Gamma Iota CHAPTER of Sigma

Food insecurity for college students can cause poor academic performance, not completing programs, along with distress, illness and overall anxiety. Please go to the following website to learn more about hunger among college students. 

Gamma Iota Chapter of Sigma will be sponsoring a food drive for the Jamil Niner Student Food Pantry. We will wrap up any donations on November 6th. Donations can be dropped off at the UNC Charlotte School of Nursing in the College of Health and Human Services Building between 8 a.m.- and 5 p.m. A box can be found in the faculty lounge and the office space in the middle of the School of Nursing Suite (CHHS 412), or with Dr. Laura Magennis (CHHS 445) or Dr. Carolyn Horne (CHHS 447A)
