What is ACRS?

The Academy for Clinical Research and Scholarship (ACRS) at UNC Charlotte is a collaborative hub that advances nursing practice and health outcomes through research, education, and partnership. It brings together scholars from nursing and allied disciplines to generate knowledge, translate evidence, and drive innovation in clinical practice. By fostering collaboration between PhD and DNP faculty, encouraging interdisciplinary work, and engaging with the community, ACRS strengthens research capacity and showcases nursing’s essential role in addressing today’s complex health challenges.
